A Snowman for Debbie

We had a wonderful Christmas celebration yesterday, the first time we have hosted the family dinner and gift exchange in Astoria.

It's been a busy sewing month for me, so while I put up the tree, I left the rest of the holiday decorations in the attic (probably for the best, as some are fragile and tempting to toddlers).
I managed to finish my sister's snowman about 10:30 p.m. Christmas Eve. The pattern/kit is one by Gail Wilson. I bought several of her patterns last year, and the is the first one I've made. I haven't finished my brother and sis-in-law's project, but as they're skiing in central Oregon, I have a few more days.

  2. "Merry Christmas" Deanne!

Your tree resembles mine..lots of ornaments, trinkets & candy canes. My tree this year is loaded. I see lots of presents for your guests. Always fun!!

I made various pieces of jewelry for gifts this year & had a blast making them. My first time at it & everything turned out very well. All were happy with their various pieces I lavished on them. I think I found another artistic outlet!

For once I got all the out-of-state packages mailed in plenty of time so that is almost a first too.

Love the snowman Deanne! Last minute making seems to be part of the artists lot as we do want to please so many friends & family looking forward to our handmade gifts. You know how they do cherish them.

    Have a Happy New Year!!
