Doll-in-progress

I spent the day working on my Harvest Moon doll. My customer chose the green-eyed face from a few posts ago, so this is the girl with the brown eyes. I really had a difficult time choosing fabric for her costuming, finally settling on a print that I've had for a very long time for her skirt. I still need to cover her jointing buttons. I haven't even started looking for hair yet.

  1. Your dolls always have the most serene faces. I think this is GREAT fabric - will you have her holding a bird or a bird house?

  2. Thanks Sharon,
It made me happy to use up just a little bit of my fabric stash, and not add to the hoarding problem! I am considering having her hold a bird house, or even a bird if I can find/make something suitable.
