Blue Heron Dolls and Other Creative Endeavors, Interests and Obsessions
Hi Deanna, Your progress on this doll is wonderful. She is lovely. why the red legs? Carolyn Boutilier
She has a sweet face now. It looks like she knows a secret and has not decided if she will tell you.
Hi Carolyn,Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog! Her lower legs are made from print fabric to representcolored stockings. She'll be wearing either a skirt or cropped pants, so they will be visible. The Hoffman Challenge fabric has lots of pretty colors in it, so I decided to use some accent fabrics. Her legs are a pretty pink with a darker fuchsia print.I slept poorly last night, working out costume ideas in my head. Not sure how much I'll get donetoday.Deanna
Thanks, Pam!I wanted to give her a quirky expression - and I think I succeeded! She'll get a name when I'm all done and she "tells" me what she's to be called.Deanna
I have to say she is pretty and awesome. Looking forward to seeing the final result. Her expression is so sweet.
Thanks so much, Jackie! When I'm done manhandling her, I may need to reemphasize some of her makeup.
