Doll for Sale - SOLD

and one of the reasons I don't do commissions any more (and have learned something in the process).

A number of years ago I was contacted to create a doll representing an animated character. I did not require a deposit, but did spend quite a bit of time and money making the doll to the requested specifications... only to never hear from the commissioner after it was all said and done.

I need to make some more space in my studio, so I'm selling this doll (SOLD).

This elf doll is about 21 inches tall, and is all cloth. Her clothing is not removable, and she does not stand alone, but requires a doll stand (not included).

The doll was made from these illustrations:

Housekeeping ~ Duplicate DVD for Sale (Blogalong day 26a/30)

Yesterday I reviewed my inventory of books, magazines and DVDs. And I found (only one?!) duplicate. I checked on Amazon, and the DVD is currently out of stock and sells for almost $30. Click on the Amazon link above for reviews if interested. I'm selling this one for $15 plus postage to the first person that emails me! blueheron61@charter.net

Now I'd kinda like to dig out the polymer clays and play a little.

Score!

So we were driving by an estate sale last weekend, and decided to stop and check it out. I found four early issues of The Cloth Doll magazine. Now I already have every issue of that particular magazine, but I though some of you out there might need to round out your collection, as they're kind of hard to find. So I'm offering them to anyone who wants them, for $5 each (plus postage) - first come, first served. SOLD
This one (with the cobbler) was missing its insert, so I copied mine.

Pattern for Sale ~ "Anne Marie" by Loretta Daum Byrne

Doncha just hate it when you forget you've already got a particular pattern, so buy it again? To be fair, I've had this particular pattern for quite awhile. When it come up on eBay I thought it looked familiar, but I've seen a lot of patterns in my day. The doll/pattern is by Loretta Daum Byrne, and has a copyright of 1983, and is out of print. The pattern pieces are uncut and still stapled to the center of the booklet. The cover shows some shelf wear.

The "Anne Marie" booklet has full-size pattern and instructions for a 17 inch soft sculpture doll with inserted eyes, and complete outfit (this includes her dress, pantaloons, slip, stockings, shoes and hat). The booklet is 13 pages of instruction, illustration and color photos.
