My Life Book 2015

I've let go of the reality that I'm not going to finish all of the lessons offered in 2015, so made a video of my book this morning - as-is. I still have so many 2016 lessons to left to do, but I signed up for Life Book 2017 anyway. I'm going to try to chip away at the 2016 lessons as I go, so I'm a long ways from making last year's video flip-through.

Another Santa

I finished another Santa doll today. This one is a gift. I forgot to measure him before boxing him up, but I think he's 13-14 inches tall.

 

"Santy Claws" is made from a pattern by Hand Made With Love. I tried to find gray Kunin shaggy fur online, with no success. I did have some of the honey colored shaggy felt that I bought years ago. There were no illustrations in the instructions (which would have made the face sculpting a whole lot easier), but it's a neat pattern. I made quite a few notes in the margins for next time.
