Day of the Dead
I've been working on a Day of the Dead doll from one of the body design prototypes. This was has been quite a challenge for me! She has a Paperclay sculpted head, and the painting has been tedious.
I haven't given much thought to her costuming yet, but have lots of potential ideas.

Pippa
This is "Pippa." She is made from one of the three design prototypes I've been working in (Pippa is number 2, but I'm not working in order).
She is a cloth-over-clay doll, and is about 13-1/2 to 14 inches tall. Her clothing is removable.
"Ruby" is the first of the three prototypes I finished (though she was prototype #3). You can see her here: http://blueherondolls.blogspot.com/2021/07/ruby.html

Cecelia 483
My latest Cecelia doll. Made from craft velour, she has button jointed shoulders and hips, removable clothing, and a Tibetan lamb wig. I enjoy selecting clothing fabrics that complement the hair, eyes, and complexion.

Another Cecelia Doll, in Progress
This is another Cecelia doll. She's just gotten her face, and needs a quick spray of fixative. Then comes the task of selecting the fabric for her dress. I think I'm going with a small light sage green plaid - but only if I find a suitable color for her collar.

Quick Nick
Today I finished five new ornaments, taking photos as I sewed, stuffed, and glued. This will become a new pattern after we get through the holidays. I think he'll be available in digital format only.
I call him "Quick Nick" because he is a *relatively* quick dolls to make. I suppose he could be a pin doll, too!
Update, 12/27/21 I've just finished the pattern and instructions for this cute little doll:
