Merry Christmas to all who celebrate the birth of Christ, and Happy Holidays to those who observe the other celebrations of the season.
I'm headed for work this morning (and will work tomorrow as well), which means we will have our get-together and gift exchange with family in January. Most of my shopping is done, so this buys me just a bit more time to tie up some of the loose ends.

It's all done and dusted here for another year - cooked up a storm this morning to feed an appreciative hoard - it was almost worth getting up at 5.00am to start baking bread etc.
So hope you have a quiet time in the ER and a wonderful family celebration when you get around to it in January!
And all the best for a great and productive 2011.
Hi Deanna,
Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year to you and your family. I've enjoyed reading your blogs for some time now. I thank you for sharing so much of your time here entertaining & informing us on your various doll making procedures & your songs. It's been a delight!
Sorry you have to work through the holidays. But it is nice to have a secure job in these shaky times. You do get a bit more time to prepare is true. Ours Christmas dinner with family went perfectly & we sent home the leftover care packages & still had plenty leftover for my husband & I. We love to make enough to go around for the day after for everyone.
Have a Wonderful 2011 ahead!
