Hometown Love (BlogAlong day 7/30)

Driving home from getting groceries yesterday, I had to stop and pull over about a quarter mile from home. Sure, I was in a rush to get the ice cream home before it melted, but I was compelled to stop for a moment and enjoy this little slice of Heaven.
Sometimes it's hard to find the beauty in things, other times it slams you upside the head. This day I  thankful for the reminder to stop and take a moment to appreciate what I have.

How generous and kind of Nature to push your pause button. As I often say, there's beauty everywhere, if only we pause to acknowledge it.

When I saw the ocean picture that you used for your blog id I just HAD to visit to see if you were near me (drat no) but we do share the same ocean! I'm on Vancouver Island; south end and yes it does hit us upside the head and Good That It Does! Blessings down there from us up here!

Melted ice cream is worth it for a moment of serenity and inspiration :)
